02 Game System
02 Game System
Summary: This chapter explains ANOME’s core gameplay — a 3x3 PvP card battle system that merges on-chain fairness, strategy, and reward distribution, forming the foundation of its play-to-earn economy.
Dual Token Model
ANOME operates under a dual-token model:
USDA — the native stablecoin, used for card trading, NFT refunds, and serving as a price benchmark.
ANOME — the platform’s utility token, used for transaction fees, staking, governance, and community-based rewards.
ANOME is not a future vision — it’s already live and evolving in real time.
Core Gameplay Overview
ANOME features a unique 3x3 PvP battle system, designed to maximize fairness, strategic depth, and competitive balance.
Each player (Red and Blue sides) is assigned 5 cards. Players take turns placing cards on the 3x3 grid until all slots are filled.
Card Mechanics

Every NFT card has four directional values — top, bottom, left, right — each ranging from 1 to 9. A special value A represents 10.
Cards also have levels (1–10) which affect gameplay strategy and deck-building constraints, but not price.
To ensure balance:
Each match allows a maximum of two Level-7 or higher cards.
In Normal Mode, card decks are automatically generated by the system.
In future Advanced Modes, players can manually build custom decks.
💡 Tip: Effective deck building requires attention to both side values and card levels. A balanced mix of high-level and strategically chosen cards can significantly influence match outcomes.
Battle Rules
When placing a card adjacent to an opponent’s card, a comparison mechanic is triggered:
If your card’s adjacent value > the opponent’s adjacent value → the opponent’s card flips to your color.
If your card’s adjacent value ≤ the opponent’s adjacent value → no flip occurs.
Cards that are not adjacent do not interact.
At the end of the match:
When all 9 slots are filled, the player with more cards of their color wins.
The lowest-value card among both players is burned by the system.
The remaining 9 cards go to the winner.
Card Characters & Assets
All ANOME cards are based on original or co-created IP content. Current card series include:
Iconic gaming archetypes and cultural tributes
Pop culture and mythological inspirations
Web3 event-themed commemorative cards
Co-branded collaborations with high-quality projects and brands
Unlike traditional trading cards, ANOME cards are not ranked by rarity. Instead, they are scored on a 1-10 scale to ensure fair and strategic gameplay.
Card prices are determined dynamically by player-driven supply and demand, rather than IP type or score.
UGC Mechanism (User-Generated Content)
Players will soon be able to create their own NFT cards through the UGC system. Each time those cards are used or burned in matches, creators earn up to 30% of the burn reward pool — establishing an open content economy that encourages continuous, high-quality creation.
This mechanism transforms players into co-creators, ensuring that ANOME’s game world expands organically through its community.
Fairness and Transparency
All battle outcomes, card flips, burns, and reward distributions are executed fully on-chain. This guarantees transparency, verifiability, and fair play — the core principle behind ANOME’s gaming ecosystem.
